At the ordinary meeting of the Bank of Russia, it was decided to keep the key rate at 21%.

This value was set in October 2024. In December, the key rate was never changed.

The next key rate meeting will be held on March 21st, 2025. The Central Bank of the Russian Federation will assess the advisability of increasing the key rate, taking into account the speed and sustainability of inflation reduction. the updated medium-term forecast, the average key rate will be 18.7 - 22.1% till the end of 2025.
