Mosgo & Partners lawyers won a court case to recover a multi-million debt from two Russian citizens in favour of a foreign person. On 24 November 2022, the court issued an in absentia judgment in the face of the defendants' opposition and attempts to delay the process.

Anton Shamatonov, Head of Dispute Resolution Practice at Mosgo & Partners, commented: "Despite the difficult political situation and special regulations that severely restrict the rights of foreigners from the so-called "unfriendly" countries, in this case the court of general jurisdiction demonstrated its willingness to resolve disputes on the basis of the legal norms. This decision is a sign for many foreigners who are afraid to defend their rights in a Russian court."

The dispute was accompanied by Konstantin Zakharenko and Anton Shamatonov.
