Mosgo and Partners lawyers successfully defended the interests of a large French insurance company in the Russian court in a multi-million dispute. Our Client interacted with a Russian insurance broker to reinsure the construction of oil fields in the Middle East. The dispute arose in connection with the conclusion of proportional facultative reinsurance slips and the settlement of losses.

During the consideration of the case in the court, the lawyers of Mosgo and Partners formed and confirmed with evidence the legal position of the Client. The court set aside the insurance broker’s and the reinsurer’s motions to dismiss the claim due to the lack of jurisdiction of the Russian court and the expiry of the limitation period. The State Commercial Court of Moscow granted the relief sought by our Client.
